Making reservations question

I haven’t planned a WDW trip in over 5 years so I am out of the loop. Can I make ADRs with AP vouchers? Do all people in the party need tickets in advance? Is online the quicker way now? I used to wait for the phone lines to open in the AM.

You don't need tickets to make a reservation. You need tickets to get into the park on the day you have your reservation. On-line opens before call-in, but either way works fine if you're not trying at 180 days in advance.

Date, time, number of adults (ages 10+) and children (up to age 9, make sure to include any infants and/or toddlers) in party, name of lead guest (names of all guests if it's a pre-paid reservation), credit card info to hold reservation. If you are calling in, make sure to write down your ADR confirmation numbers. Also, if you call in, make sure to give them your WDW resort reservation number (if you are staying onsite), so you can make ADR's for your entire stay at the 180 day mark.

You really just need your resort reservation linked to your account for 180+ benefits. You will also need a credit card on file.

You will not need tickets linked until you are ready for Fastpasses.
