New DVC member so please bear with me. I(the DVC member) would like to make reservations for myself and for my two sons and their families. When I go to reserve the rooms should I book all three rooms in my name and then call MS and change them or should I fill out the reservation request with the names of the people staying in the rooms reservrd on line.
I am looking for help from all you veterans. Thank you and have a magical day.

I make the reservation in the name of the people in the room.

As the DVC Member, you are the one who controls the reservation, whether your name is on it or not.

Welcome Home, new DVC Member!

You can do it either way.

Yes. And if you are booking 3 separate rooms online, you have to do them one at a time. If you are booking a hard to get room category at a really busy time, I would book each room for only yourself then call later to change the names. It will save a few minutes when booking online and lessen the risk that by the time you get to the last reservation, the room you want is already booked.

As the last post said if you do it on line at 8 am just use your name on all ressies. you can call and change later

I do it all the time for 3 families, and like above, I do it online at 8 with my name and call at a convenient time to update the reservation with all the correct names.

You can use the chat feature on the member's website to do the name changes, if you do not want to call.

Depending upon how many rooms you will need, and how popular of a timeframe you have for your travel dates, it may be easier just to call or use the chat feature to book all of the rooms. Booking one or two rooms is fine, but for 3 or more, I just call. ANd I have all the primaries for the room present when I do call, put DVC on speakerphone. That way each primary can give their information (address, phones, emails address) directly. Also make sure they have a My Disney Experience account already set up prior to booking the rooms, so the reservation can be linked to their account easily.
