Making plans around Jan 08 marathon?

We'll be in Disney from (late) Jan 11-Jan 17th. I had planned to avoid Epcot and MK during the morning hours and opted to go to AK and have a character breakfast and hang out there until afternoon. Now I'm wondering about the buses though, will it be hard to get a bus that morning (Sat morning) of the marathon? Should we plan to go somewhere else instead?

Nope it is not hard at all. It is kinda cool because they have to take different / back roads to get around. Every park is open ... just has a coned out path running through it.
