Making phone calls from WDW PO-R?

Hello, I will be staying at the Port Orleans and I wondered what is the best way to call other restaurants in WDW to make a priority seating arrangement? What about calling other resorts? Do they charge a service fee? Is there a "trick" to saving the 75 cents per call such as first calling the operator?

To make priority seating arrangements, you should call WDW Dining. There is a button specifically for dining on the phone. To call another resort without being charged 75 cents, you dial the resort operator and ask to be connected to the other resort.

You can also stop by guest services and have them book the PS for you. They were even willing to book PS at non-Disney resteurants.
