Making my own window decals...Help please

I would like to make some window clings and small posters for our trip in January. I've seen some really cute pictures and designs on the discussion boards. How do I edit and make my own? Where does everyone find there pictures at? I have already bought the window decal paper at Office Depot. Any help would be greatly appreciated...this is my first time decorating a window. I've only used magnets on the cruise ship doors.

I use photshop elements 6.0 and as for how I get my pictures, lots and lots of google searches!
