I know there have probably been a hundred posts like this one, but I beg your patience to answer this for me.

So I use the dark transfer paper on any shirt besides white

The t-shirt I am attempting is a black t-shirt. The design is black around it - which I can trim, but the inside is black as well. I just don't want to get that shiny-plastic look on the black parts.
Am I ok with the dark transfer paper - or if I were using the "white" would it be giving me that "shiny area"?

Does that make any sense?:confused3

I am using an image from Rumblytumbly
it is the firey mickey head with malificent.
I couldn't figure out how to place the picture here, but it is in post #99 on her thread

You'll definatley have to use dark transfer paper. There will be black paper behind the mickey head and design. My experience is that the dark paper doesn't get shiny like the light paper does. Hope this helps. I had to do it once before I clearly understood how it worked and how the different designs would print on different paper.

I also have a first-timer question -

I've seen the designs I'd like to use for a t-shirt, something small on the front and a larger design on the back (from the MNSSHP thread)

Do I need something other than the design file listed in the thread for an adult t-shirt? I was thinking of a small design on the front and a larger design on the back.

TIA!

PS. I am so impressed with all the talent on this board - it's amazing!

Usually you can just right click and save from the thread. If the image is blurry when you enlarge it, then PM the designer. That hasn't been the case for me very often.
