The job thing hasn't started yet and I'm getting a little annoyed. I recieved a letter from them stating that I have the job as long as my background check is o.k. It said on the letter that that can take 5-7 business days. I got the job late last Friday, so tomorrow will be the 5th business day. If I don't hear anything, then I will call them on Monday and see what's up. I just got my passport this year and I know that you can't be a felon to get one of those. THe guy at Pennys said it depends on how many places I've lived that determines how long it takes. I've only lived in 3 states since 1990, but I've moved a lot.
Anyway, I'm playing the waiting game and would like to start soon so that I can get a paycheck!!!

Just to let you know yes a felon can get a passport ! Theonly requirement is that they are not on parole ! This is a fact as I personally have seen a passport issued to a 2 x convicted felon ., who hid nothing and was told what I said . He's a different person now but nevertheless is a felon !!

Hi Grace. Just thought I'd let you know that I have orientation tomorrow from 1-5 at Pennys. Yay Me!! Now I can hopefully get a schedule and start planning on how to spend that BIG paycheck!

Yes save that paycheck for the World !!Me I use my IRA account ( I'm old enough) and my empoyee matches 5% so I figured it out I can do a solo every year on them !! I like that math!!

I should get some hours assigned on Monday when the other managers are there. It seems like a nice place to work. The discount is great. Same as Old Navy, 20%. How was your Saturday??

Good evening!! Glad your orientation went well! I wear a white polo, and khaki's and comfortable shoes for work, I get to wear white because I'm a photo tech Our discount is only 10%, My Saturday was good the wedding was nice, the weather is a little cold but no rain this afternoon.
The happy couple is going to WDW for their honeymoon
We went to the Circus last nite is was fun. Landen sat pretty good for the 1st part then he wanted to move around so we just passed him back and forth. The sourviners(sp?) where expensive 20$ for a spinning light. 9$ for a frozen slushie in a slippy cup.
We have trick or treat tomorrow, going to my daughters to help pass out candy and see Landen as Mickey.

Glad the wedding was nice, and no rain. We had sun on this side of the state, but it was chilly. I hope the happy couple has fun at Disney. How could they not??
I've never gone to a circus, and have never taken my kids there either. It makes me kinda sad. You hear all the horror stories about circus', but I'm sure they are regulated better than they used too. I'm glad Landen had a good time.

Hi Grace. I saw your post on Lynn's PTR and thought I'd respond on yours. DH back is doing better. Yesterday I was really worried about him. There were a couple of times that he looked near tears when he would get up to walk.
Abby had a competition a couple of weeks ago and has one this weekend at the Kalahari by Cedar Point.
How are things there? I'm sure not much planning is going on at the moment because your trip is still pretty far out. That's about how things are here. I'm just trying to prepare my body for our trip. I went to the gym today and plan on going everyday. Plus, I need to adopt better eating habits too. I don't expect to be a size 6, but a litlle smaller than I am now.
I'm working on Wed morning. I'll let you know how it goes.

We goin to try to have another Disney nite in Nov. and will probuarly skip Dec with all the holiday plans and its also Landen birthday
I too would like to lose some weight. and develope better eating habits. my downfall is sweets. I Love my Cookies!!!! I was a big coke drinker, about 5 a day until about 3 months ago. I don't drink any now, I still drink some soda like sunny d. or some diet pops, I going to try to cut back on that too.

Yes, Abby has a competition on Sat. She's very excited for it and so am I. I love watching cheerleading. It's just amazing to me the things some of these girls can do. Whoever says cheerleading isn't a sport hasn't watched a performance. Then girls leave practice, sometimes, looking like they've just completed a boxing match!
I haven't found airfare yet. I don't usually get airfare until I'm closer to Mar/April. What about you? Have you seen any since you signed up for Airfare Watchdog?

My grand daughters are cheerleaders ! They have to practise at least 3 nights a week and then cheer on the weekends and go to several competitions! It is good exercise !!

I agree the stunts and dance moves are amazing,
I have not been able to find any dates for airfare, still to early, did see a arirfare on airtran for may for 180$ Hope fully I can get something around 200$
