Making CD for Long Car Trip Need Tech Help + Ideas...

Hi,

I have a long car trip ahead of me (13.5 hours) and am now starting to put together the plan for the car decorations (mickey floor mats, seat organizer, stickers, etc.).

I had an idea to make a CD with different tracks for the "journey". So far I have come up with this to coincide with where we are:

1. I pick up my daughter (age 11) and just before doors our closed: Sounds of monorail "please stand clear....next stop Polynesian".

Tracks 2-?

Last Track: Just before we arrive at nighttime the introduction to Spaceship Earth will play (our favorite ride and most sentimental).

Anyone know how I can convert .wav or .mp3 files so I can play them on my indash CD player? Also appreciate any ideas for songs/themes to fill up the CD. THANKS!

Can't give you any suggestions as to what to put on the cd, but if you use Nero software you can convert them and burn to a cd that you can play in your car. Nero will even give you a trial version that is good for so many days. This is what my DH uses. HTH

I have Nero 6 Ultra Edition, I guess it may be up to the task then, will check it out soon. Thanks!
