Making Audio Recordings in park

I figured my DIS friends would have the answers I need! I have asked other friends but they all look at me like I'm nuts for even wanting to take audio from inside the parks. You all understand me don't you? :confused3 ;)

My question is - what would be a small, portable and easy to use audio recording device? I certainly don't need top quality recordings because I'm hoping for something not too expensive. Something to give me my Disney fix when I'm really needing it, such as dealing with the snow falling here today! :cold: I seem to remember someone mentioning an IRiver, but when I look it up it seems to just be an MP3 player. :confused3 Any suggestions.:confused3

Thanks

Some digital cameras will record audio but I'm not sure of the quality. You might have to get pretty close to the audio source though.

I've downloaded park music room Limewire.

You could try the Zoom H2 Digital Audio Recorder. Not exactly cheap at $180, but worth a look. Google for it or try B & H Photo.

I've used some for background music for our home movies as well, it just seems to add that extra detail. I would also like to make my own of particular places or rides that I want.

I've make oodles of CD's....some are at home, some at work. LOTS of park music for photo CD's too.

At the top of my head, here is a little list of some of the music I've downloaded from Limewire:

Main Street USA Musical Loop
Haunted Mansion script
Space Mountain Line-up and ride music
Winnie the Pooh ride music
It's a small world music
Splash Mountain music
Big Thunder Mountain "There's a hold up music"
Monorail script [all lines]
WISHES music
Spectromagic
Epcot Entrance Music
Just about all the music in World Showcase
Illuminations
Tapestry of Dreams
Entrance to Disney Hollywood Studios
Rock n' Roller Coaster Music
ToT background and ride music & script
Animal Kingdom background muisc

There are lots more, but I have to go to work now! Blessings, Sandra

I checked Limewire but I'm obviously searching wrong. I don't have it on my computer so I have to wait until I can use my daughter's. I'll check tonight and see what I come up with. thanks :thumbsup2

I would like to make live recordings in the park as well, just for me. I would like to have the voices of our kids and be able to hear their reactions to things. Airfare is so crazy from up here it costs us about $2500 CND just to fly the 5 of us down. :scared1: We obviously can't go very often so I want to be able to relive the trip as often as I want! :lovestruc Expecially as this will be the last one with our oldest still at home.
