Making an ADR question.....

Can someone tell me.....does it make any difference if you make an ADR on line or if you call Disney? Like do you get offered different times with one or the other, or do they work off the same system? If they are different, do we know which is better? Thank you!

you do have an advantage because you can go online an hour before the phone lines open I believe...

Yes you are correct. If you do it online, you get an hour advantage.

With the improvements they've made to the online reservations system, I agree with the PPs that it does give you the extra hour advantage.

However, I'm just old-fashioned (ok, just old) enough, that when trying to get a 'hard to get' reservation (F. package) I prefer to talk to a real person. They can search for openings over different times and days a lot faster than I can.

I will often do both on my 180 day morning. Start making my ADRs online, then call for any ADRs requiring credit card. It's just a quirk of mine: I really don't like giving out credit card info online. I know its a secure site, but still....

How early can you actually book a ressie? I was thinking of going online at about 12:30 - 1:00am at my 180 day mark. Anyone know if this is a possiblilty? Thanks

I guess they open up on-line for the day the same time that they do on the phone? Six AM ET? Is that right?
