Making an ADR from out of the US

Is it possible to make an ADR via email or fax?

We live in New Zealand so the thought of making an expensive long distance call with the chance of being on hold for ages and the hassle of the CM struggling with my accent fills me with dread.

Our only dining want is Boma, however we only have 5 weeks until our trip to WDW so suspect our chances of getting in will be slim/none at this stage anyway - any thoughts?

I don't think this is possible, although you may find that the call wouldn't be that expensive. I made several ADRs from the UK before my last trip and the call cost wasn't that bad.

Can you use 800 numbers outside the US? I could have sworn someone posted one the other day....I will try and look for it after church...I just read someone uses this number: 1-800-828-0228

Toll-free numbers are not accessible outside the permitted area of in-calling.

Folks here on the DIS are pretty good about offering to make ADRs for folks who are out-of-country. PM Joy or PM me with your info (name, party-size, number and ages of children, and preferences with regard to dates, times and locations), and we'll call for you. The only reason you'd need to pay for a call yourself is if you're trying to get a hard-to-get ADR.

The last two times I have called there was no time on hold and the CM on the phone was really efficient. I made 3 ADRs in less than 2 minutes. Call times: one was a Saturday afternoon, the other was a weekday morning around 7:45am eastern time.
