Hi friends! I have never been to WDW so the DIS is very helpful. :goodvibes I see that many reservations need to be made 90 days in advance for dining, but for the life of me I am not sure how I will know how to plan for this! Can some ADR's be made more on the spur when our family will be at WDW? Do some of you wait for the evening extra hours to be revealed by Disney in order to make your ADRs? Any opinions are highly appreciated. We will be going in peak season Easter of 2006 for 8 days

I think there are times of the year you can make them last minute but at Easter.......well I think you had better make them as soon as you can! You can try to change them closer to Easter but it would be better to have them reserved just in case!

I think you will definitely need to make adr's, especially for character meals. It is aggravating that the full schedule of hours/emh is not available 90 days out however! What I have done is find the historic hours for the time I am going (I am sorry I don't know the link for that, maybe somebody else does). If you looked at the EMH/Park Hours for this past April that would give you an idea of what days each park had their EMH. Then you could make your adr's based on that. Just know they can change anything at anytime! That said, park hours are generally released around 60 days out. So if you needed April hours next year they should be up around the first of February. That is still 60 days out. While a lot of things would be gone, there would still be some availabilty left I am sure. I would still suggest making as many as you can at 90 days out and then when they release the hours you can adjust if you need to.

Are Priority Seating reservations necessary for the third week of October? I'm not interested in any character dinings, just looking for nice restaurants for husband and I (no children). Places include Citricos, California Grill, Le Cellier and Ohana. Do I need to still make reservations, or can two people just show up and get in, after a 30-60 min wait?
