I wanna make my 180 adrs for my DDP restaurants next week and read that you might need a room reservation number.
I booked through a travel agent here in the UK and I haven't got a reservation number.
I have a booking reference from travel agent is that the same thing.

I don't know if being on the DDP makes any difference but when we stay off site we just call and make them with no problems :cool1: They do ask where you are staying but seem to be able to get by without any other info.

the only time you need a reservation # is when booking 180+10, if you're making your ADRs exactly 180 days out or less for each of them, no such reservation is required.

Yes, and when you call to make your ADRs (BEFORE you speak to a CM), you will be prompted to put in EITHER your WDW reservation # OR your home phone number. Sometimes I have been asked that information again when I spoke to the CM, sometimes not. But in any case all you need to give is one or the other.

really? i've never been prompted for either. they use caller ID too. when i call from my cell phone, they call me by name when they answer and all my ADRs pop up. my home phone has caller ID blocked, so I give them my # when I make the ADR.

never been prompted for either though. The only prompts I remember is 2 for V&A or 1 for dining, then if calling in orlando area, then for survey, then someone answers.

but as i mentioned, a WDW reservation is not needed within 180 days. otherwise people staying offsite would have problems.

Oh cool I think maybe ours is 180 plus 10 then this is the date popping up on Tour Guide Mike

Nope, except for the 180 +10 thing, you don't need a reservation #. You don't even need to stay on Disney property to make ADRs. :)

I gave them my travel agents (travel city direct) booking reference when asked and there were no problems. It really is easy to book...
