Making ADR's for group of 14, can it be done?

We are going to WDW July 10-17, 2010. We are staying off property and will have up to 14 people, not a final number yet. We would like to do 2 meals. The Donald Breakfast at AK and lunch at T-Rex at DTD together. Who do I call to make ressies for a group this size? Can it be done or will we have to split up? I know you usually pay a higher tip for a large group and that is ok. Can you make ressies for T-rex with Disney or do I have to call them direct?

My biggest question would be has anyone been able to sit together for a group this size or do they always get split up.

In July 2008 we did a Grand Gathering with 16 people - and we had tons of ADRs! We were able to all sit together everywhere with two exceptions - Sci-FI (of course) but the cars were all right next to each other, and Coral Reef but the tables were close together there also.

last year we did a large group and our of the 3 together meals we only had 1 where we were somewhat at the same table--cindy's breakfast. we were seated in the area of the restaurant that had a long row of table together. at LTT we were seated at 2 tables and the same at mama melrose. we were near each other, but the interaction w/in the families was not there. each family group sat together. we still had a good time.

If you call the regular dining line, I think they will transfer you to Group dining. You're not a Grand Gathering if you're staying off property, but Group dining should still take care of such large group reservations.

T-Rex takes reservations directly, but I don't have the number. I do not know if Disney also takes T-Rex reservations or not.

Disney does take T-Rex reservations, but T-Rex, not being a Disney restaurant, does not release all of its tables for booking through the Disney system. You can try it through Disney, but if you can't get what you want that way by all means call T-Rex directly.
