Making adr's 180 plus window online or phone

Hi,
I have reservations for a trip in august and my 180 plus date is late February. What time could I start doing online ADR's could it be midnight or do I have to wait til morning? Plus I have been seeing online glitches here so maybe calling is better? I have used both in the past but just wondering how early I can do it or which system is better?

Online 6 AM Eastern time.
Phone 7 AM Eastern Time.

Online you would have a one hour headstart. Then if there are glitches you could call at 7. If everything is running smoothly online you might be done before 7!
