Making ADR with guests

We will be staying on-site in late October. We have booked our trip (including meal plan). We have been making reservations at various restaurants for the family. My parents will likely spend a day with us at one of the theme parks - they will purchase their own tickets. If I make reservations for the day they will be with us, can I book for the entire group under my reservation, and pay for their meals seperately - we would use meal credits for our meals and pay for their meals. Or do they have to make their own meal reservations....

You can make the reservations for as many people as you need. Since you are not charged until you are there (I know there a few exceptions like CRT that need a CC) you will be able to split the bill however you want.

The Disney servers will always split checks on request. The definitely will when some are on a Dining Plan and others are not. However, it is best to alert the server at the start of the meal; it tends to improve the accuracy and reduce the confusion.
