Making ADR with dining plan then changing

I am back and forth as to whether I want dining plan or not ... If I book my trip with dining, make ADRs and later drop the dining plan, will that make a difference with my ADRs? Are they linked to your dining plan in any way?

Your dining reservations are not linked to the dining plan so it won't matter if you drop the plan later.

You can even book CRT or one of the 3 dinner shows and use the dining plan credits to reserve your meal. You will still have to give credit card info to guarantee the res in case you don't cancel and then don't show up. However, when you arrive at CRT or pick up the dinner show tickets and you don't have the dining plan, then you'll have to pay the full amount.

Same rules apply whether it's a paid or free dining plan. When making reservations you are not asked if it is a paid or free plan. If you link your dining plan when making the CRT reservation you do not have to pre-pay, but you will still be asked for cc info for the no show guarantee. If you do not link the dining plan you will have to pre-pay when you make the res.
