Making ADR Thread - hold times, IT vents, and general whine!

I got right thru at 7:45. I GOT CINDERELLA'S ROYAL TABLE!!! So excited. There was a 2nd one too, I think for March 30th.

Last sunday I held for over an hour. I honestly think something was wrong with my connection though, they never picked up.

I'm on hold.

First time I called, talked to a person after about 2 minutes of being on hold and then they told me they had to transfer me to a different place. So then I'm on hold for about 10 minutes and I hear beeping and then I am taking the "after your call" survey. Arg.

So I called back. Again a person talked to me and said they would have to transfer me....I'm wondering what I said "yes" or "no" to that was wrong and they need to keep transferring me. I've been on hold now close to an hour. And I've now listened to the hold music cycle twice through and am now on my third time...

Wonder what's taking so long.

YAH!!!! They found a way. I got all that I was looking to get. I have to call back again in 2 days to get last one. We are staying 14 days and they can only can go 10 so that is ok it is not a big one. I don't think I need to call at 7am for that one.

The long hold is for people that need reservations past I think May 23rd. That is when the new system has to be used.

Just had the exact same thing happen.

2 hours and 10 minutes later... I'm finished. Good luck! I didn't have too many problems with my times! So you should be good to go once you make it through!

Good to hear, I'm at the 2 hours 10min. mark so maybe there is hope.

Called at 7 this moring and now at 9:12, I have all of my ADR's. Got the times I wanted.

I am on hold now-but so far only 12 min- I need O'hana's May 7th/or Chrf Mickeys-breakfast.
Also have to see if 1900 is open for Mother's day

edited to add-I was unable to get either-but got 1900 PF.
Nothing I wanted for Mother's day.

I called this morning at 7:04, was put on hold, was told I needed to talk to a different person since I was making reservations starting June 6, was put on hold again, and finally finished making reservations about 8:45. I was able to get all of the restaurants on the days we wanted, but I had to compromise on times for some of them. I've been dreading having to call, but, at least, it's done.

After three hours begining to end and talking to a total of 4 people
got everything we wanted at the times we wanted. The girl taking the reservations was great, if it only would have been less time on hold.

When did they change the music? Listening to just 5 songs got a bit old...
