Making ADR prior to booking trip

We're hoping to get back to DW this May but not positive yet. However, if we go I reeeeaaally want to go to "Be Our Guest" and I know it's nearly impossible to get a res. Is this something I can do now if I know which week we'll be there if we go? Do I need a confirmation # or anything to make an ADR? Last year the trip was already booked when we made ADRs and I recall plugging in a trip confirmation #. Tia!!!

You don't need a confirmation #. You can make reservations even if you are staying offsite. You will just need to reserve BOG with a credit card, but they won't charge it unless you are a no show. You just have to cancel at least 24 hours in advance to not get charged.

I'd go ahead and book. Just in case.

At 180 days out dining reservations are available to everyone - onsite, off site, locals. Without a resort reservation # you'll be able to make the BOG res 180 days before the day you want to dine there. You'll have to check online or call every day or wait until the last day of your trip is at 180 and do it all at once.

It sounds like last time you put in your resort confirmation # to make the 180 + 10 reservations. This time you won't be able to do this if you don't have a resort res before your 180 days.

I'd make one for each week that I MIGHT go & then cancel the ones I didn't need as soon as I knew. =)
