In early December, I am taking my mom to Disney World for her very first trip! My 20 month old will also be with us, so it will be Mommy, Nana, and little Paul! :sunny: Daddy has to stay home and work this time.

Mom is SO excited about going to Disney - especially with Paul. He's the first grandchild and pretty much the center of the universe, as far as she's concerned. :p

Anyway, I'm working on putting together a little Disney goodie bag to give my mom the night before our trip. I'm looking for some fun, creative, and useful ideas about what to include.

This is what I have so far:

-a gift certificate for a massage at the GF spa
-a pretty straw hat with seashells on it
-some foot and leg lotion and spray from Bath and Body Works
-a Chrismtas shirt to wear to MVMCP (making matching ones for all of us)
-a cute Pooh and Tigger tote bag to put it all in

Any other ideas?

This fun little project is helping me pass the time till our trip gets here! :D

small snacks or healthy treats (granola bars, nuts, crackers, dried fruits)

lip balm with sunscreen to protect and moisturize (I like Burt's Bees)

Brita bottle for refilling water in the parks

That's all I can think of this late at night!:o

Put in a small travel diary or journal. She can record all the wonderful memories. I give those to everyone I take to disney.

Maybe a pin or two to start her trading. Mickey earrings.

Extra Film for her camera as I know she will love to take a lot of pics of your little guy...Get the processing included kind from a store she uses and this will make it free to get her pics when she gets back home...::yes::

If you're going in December, how about a nice Mickey hoody for when it gets cold?

Kungaloosh!
Morticia.

I just LOVE this idea and think I might steal it from you for my husband...
How about mouse ears with her name on them? I know you can order them from the park...

The Brita fill & go is awesome! (Found mine at WalMart)
Disposable camera.
Glow sticks - super fun for all ages at night!
Sunscreen.
Maybe an autograph book, she can get autographs & put them with the pics of little Paul (boy he was little wasn't he!!!!) & the character.
Maybe a guest of honor badge? I got them for our family from laughingplacestore.com. I hope we'll get special attention since everyone will know our names!
Have fun!!! Spoil that miracle baby of yours!

We are having a family reunion in Feb at WDW. For Christmas I am giving each of the families going with us a Mickey carpet bag (bought on sale very cheap!) filled with items for the trip. Since we will still have a month before the trip I am including a 2005 Unofficial Guide to WDW in the bag (this is the most expensive part of the gift). I will be ordering Guest of Honour Badges for each person, disposable cameras, I am making a list of hidden Mickey's, some pins that I bought on sale, autograph books for the kids, and id holders to put park tickets in. I am hoping to find some inexpensive disney stickers and coloring books to include. You might want to buy your mom a WDW scrapbook to put all the wonderful pictures in. Or how about some disney picture frames for group pictures ( the one the WDW photographers take of you in front of the park icons).

I am going Dec 5-11 with MY Mom too! AND I am taking my turning 2 year old!!! If you say you are staying at the Poly I will faint because that is just too funny! Love the ideas for the goody bag!
