Making a reservation using DisneyWorld.com.com

Has anyone else made a reservation online at Disney.com? This is our first time and I would love some feedback. I have used CRO before and a travel agent. I can check my reservation on the WDW website and see my deposit etc... I thought it was strange that when you book online you cannot prepay until you arrive. We like to pay ahead of time and were able to do so through CRO but not with online reservations. Anyone run into this before...does it sound right?

Would like to hear from somone else who has booked online and arrived at their WDW hotel. Please let me know if you exerienced any problems with checking in or your reservation not being correct. Thanks in advance for your help.

Oh, i always thought you could keep making online payments after the initial deposit, I thought I saw that somewhere on the website...maybe someone else knows for sure, but I thought I had seen that somewhere
