I'm planning our second trip to WDW. The first time, we relied on a travel agency but we had some issues and decided it wasn't worth it. We want to deal directly with it this time.

However, how the reservation concept works is a bit new to me. It's not very usual in my country, so let's see if I can understand:

• We have to make a deposit as soon as we make a reservation of U$___?
• Then, we have until ____ to pay everything.
• Can we pay little by little until the final date? Is there a minimum?

Am I missing something? The online chat is offline right now so I couldn't ask a CM directly. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I want to be able to explain it properly to my mom.

Yes, you have the basics. The details vary, depending on whether you are booking a room only reservation or a vacation package.

With room only, you will need to pay a deposit equal to the cost of one night at your resort. The balance is due at the time of check in.

With a package (room + tickets plus DDP if you so choose), you pay a deposit of $200. The balance is due 45 days before your check in day.

You can make partial payments at any time until the final payment deadline.
