Our first day we are doing Magic Kingdom but it is a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party night. We wanted to have dinner at Be Our Guest but don't want to eat TOO early. We aren't planning on attending the party (that night).

My question is - is there a way we could make our reservation for the exact time (or 30 min before) the park closes to non-party guest to get the most of our park time? We aren't trying to sneak into the party or anything we just don't want to give up park hours for dinner.

If you look at the individual restaurants on your date, you will see the "closing" time for regular day guests. It would state "Dinner". The last ADR time will likely be about 40 minutes minimum before the party starts, a couple may go later if logistically it works - or at least that how it worked before.

Party goers last year or two have had their own separate booking page for the restaurants open during the party. Those times are after a gap of down time between regular guests and party guests. Previous years it said something like "Special Event Dinner" ...

I looked at a night we are considering going to the party. Park closes at 6. Party starts at 7. All the restaurants I checked show dinner ends at 6. But when I tried booking I found nothing later than 5. I will assume folks are booking what they can asap since it will be more limited.

Which restaurant and night were you looking at? Closing times may vary for different spots for day guests, especially if they won't be open during the party.

This won't work for you. The park and dining close early to non party guests

I'll piggyback on what HopperFan wrote - for a few years WDW has set up two separate dining pages: one for those who want to eat during regular hours and one specifically for people who will be attending the parties so people don't get confused as to whether or not they need a party ticket when making their ADR's. WDW has not done that, as of yet, this year and, right now all MK restaurants that are offering dinner on party nights (some don't even have dinner times listed) are either closing at 6:00 or 6:10 pm. The park closes at 6 pm, so as long as your reservation is before 6 pm, you should be fine. Last year, we did a walk-up at Skipper's Canteen right when they closed at 6 pm. Once we were seated, a manager came around to check to see who had party wristbands on. Those that did not were told they would need to leave the park immediately after their meal. We currently have a 5:30 pm reservation for Skippers on a party night and there was no warning in the terms and conditions that we would need a party ticket to eat there at that time.

We are trying to get into Be Our Guest.

Today was our 180 day point and right now there are no dinner options for BOG. I called the reservation line and the girl told me to "keep checking" and that if they allow it it should probably be available sometime before Monday.

I HIGHLY doubt that they will let us walk into BOR right? lol But if we cant get a reservation you can bet I'll try.

Thank you for your answers guys.

By then it will be 2 credit TS prix fixe, so that might make it easier to get...

If it’s any consolation, though I have Skippers now, I also want BOG in a party night and no dinner reservations have ever come up and I started checking the very day they said they were releasing ADR’s for the new menu. I feel like somethings up with BOG on some of these party nights

@HopperFan I forgot about that part. I'm always OOP so that price wouldn't steer me away...but that's a bad deal for someone using TS credits.

Oh I agree with you on credits ... most the 2 credit meals are not a math plus.

But for some that OOP will be a negative. When DS and I tried it for dinner, after many breakfasts and lunches ... our total bill was not much more than one adult now. And if everyone has to pay (which is what a prix fixe meal means but we know Disney doesn't get it at BOG) then the splitting meals or picky kids groups may not be able to reconcile this new price.
