When I made a room only reservation, I attempted to put in the full amount of my disney gift card but it would only accept the deposit amount. I cannot find a link to make further payment.

Do I have to call Disney to apply the rest of my gift card toward the reservation?

I know I can just apply the gift card when we get there but wanted to get it out of the way.

You have to call.

Is there somewhere on the website to view what I have paid and what my balance are?

You should of got an email when you made reservation minus deposit, that shows remaining payment.

You can call to make a payment and you don't have to talk to a real person. You just go through the prompts and tell them the credit card information, etc. You will get your balance during the call.

Is it possible to do this if I want to apply a partial payment using a Disney gift card?

Might as well keep your money until you have to pay them. No advantage to prepaying

Of course, OP will be using a gift card so it's six of one, half dozen of the other.

I'm pre-paying with my Disney Visa so that the rewards are applied before our trip. I'll use them to pay our daily balance from dining/shopping.

With a gift card, there is an advantage. If you don't apply the gc before you arrive, the credit card on file may be charged on your check-in day before you arrive. While you can have the front desk reverse the charge, it's a PITA and takes some time. Better to apply it before arriving. Just be sure to keep the gc in case you cancel the trip; the refund goes back to the original form of payment.
