Making a new reservation while at WDW

Odd question, I guess. We will be arriving at our home resort on the exact date of the 11 month window for our next trip. Can I make this new reservation at the check in desk, or do I have to do it on the phone at the DVC number?

I remember sitting on hold on my cell phone while we took the bus to Epcot. I was calling right at 9:00 on the first available day for new AKV members to book. It was a crazy day for MS with all the new AKV owners calling in at once for their first ressies.

One trip I was on the phone with member services making ressies for our next trip as my SIL drove us to the airport (on our way to WDW)!!! As if my husband's family didn't already think I was Disney crazed!!

To me, that sounds perfect... making your next Disney trip's reservation as you are just starting your current Disney trip. Have fun!

I guess I'm not the only one. I once was on the phone with MS while waiting to board the Dream at PC. We just left BLT and couldn't wait to go back.
I'm very blessed with a DH who understood my insanity...

I'll be heading to PC the day I need to make my 11-month ressies! We'll be boarding the Dream the next day!!!
