Making A Cookbook

I was wondering if anyone has ever made their own cookbook? A friend and I are making a cookbook, and the publisher wants it at the end of the month. The proceeds will go to the people who suffered from Katrina. We need the recipes by August 25th. I have gone over all my recipes and sent them in but I need more. I've asked relatives and friends and only 2 have really helped.

I was wondering for those of you out there that that have made your stash where did you pick up the recipes.

Wow Christina-what a job you have taken on. I have done it twice. Once for my church and again at work. I am a school bus driver and we put a cookbook together to make money for our elem. libraries. I would suggest trying you church or maybe a senior center. Those folks probably have alot of favorites. Another idea might be a PTA organization at one of your local schools.?? Good Luck Deb

I've tried the PTA, but they would rather have the kids turn in pennies to the school and then the school writes a check to the Red Cross. I don't get it why would we send in money to them, just write the check to Red Cross and take it to them ourselves. Red Cross is down the road. It doesn't make sense to me. Collect clothes or things for winter I don't know how cold it gets down.
