Making a change to a package.

We currently have a 3 day base ticket but I'm thinking of changing to a 2 day hopper. Does anyone know how far in advance I need to make that decision. I have a package with room and tickets booked through Disney. Also thinking of buying an annual pass. Can I credit my tickets to purchase the pass?

You can make changes any time, but could be charged a fee for any changes made less than 30 days from arrival. Yes, the amount you pay for your tickets can be used toward the purchase of an AP .

Great! So if I upgrade to the annual pass after 2 days do I get credit for the two days cost or does my annual pass start two days before I actually bought it?

When you upgrade tix to an AP, the start date of the AP is the date you first used the tickets.

I think the change fee waived if you are upgrading. Even so - you can wait until you check in and get your tickets and then upgrade to the hopper or an AP at guest services anytime before the end of your last day and not worry about the fee.

Do you know if I can downgrade my tickets a check-in. It looks like the GF gingerbread house will be open on the day we leave. We had planned to spend the morning at AK to see the Lion King show. Now I don't need the extra ticket day to see the Lion King that morning but now I'll need a hopper to fit the show into my plans. I'm trying to move some ADRs around where I might not need the hopper but if I can't and need to downgrade can I do it at the desk and pay the fee?
