Making a Breakfast Reservation at Hollywood Studios for early park access

I somehow snagged an 8:10am breakfast reservation at "Hollywood & Vine" in Hollywood Studios...

Assuming that Disney sticks to their planned 9am opening for the park, is this a good way to get access to 'Toy Story Midway Mania' before the rope-droppers storm in?

Only information I can find online notes that it's a great way to sign-up for the Jedi Training Academy before all the other kids do... but I have no children so that perk is completely meaningless to me! I'm curious to know if anyone else here has done an early breakfast at the Holly & Vine, and if they think it's worth it from the perspective of someone who is only concerned about getting on the rides before the other Guests storm in!

It won’t be an advantage for TSL. H&V holds guests until the gates open for regular guests and you’ll then join the masses to wait on Hollywood Blvd. for rope drop. You’d have better positioning for TSL by arriving early and waiting at the park entrance.

That is anybodys guess. They have announced some well before the date, but have added EMH to mornings almost up to the day of.

It helped us when there were no TSMM fp’s in May. But we skipped our reservation, since I was with my 5 and 6yo boys who don’t really eat anything and werent interested in the Disney jr characters. We signed up for Jedi training, then strolled over to Hollywood Blvd where we were first at the rope. A lot of people passed us during the stampede after rope drop but we were still able to get on the ride with little wait.
