Makeup Lasting?

I seem to have a huge problem with makeup lasting me throughout the day on an average day--let alone my wedding! Our ceremony is at 2 and then we have a huge gap for pictures since we aren't taking them ahead of time and our reception doesn't begin until 5.

Would someone come out a "refresh" me? Is that completely unheard of? Do I just bring makeup and refresh myself?

As you can see I'm pretty clueless. What did you do?

Funny - I was just researching makeup artists in Southern California, and some of them do have the option to stick around all day to touch you up - however, they charge like $500!

Most of the makeup artists people on the DIS use have a finishing spray that they blast you with at the end, and it locks your makeup in for hours.

I brought my own (Model in a Bottle) and had Patricia Lejeune spray it on me as I walked out the door. I don't know if it was that or the airbrush makeup or a combo of the two, but my makeup lasted nearly 18 hours with just a touchup for lip gloss.

Yeah I've been reading that airbrush lasts longer--your makeup looks gorgeous in all your pics. I can't even imagine makeup lasting that long. I feel like I put mine on in the morning and then by the time I get to work it's gone LOL.

I used About Face and mine stayed all day long too! My makeup person did give me a small touch up powder and lipstick/gloss that she used so that I could touch up right before the wedding or whenever I wanted to... I didn't really need it though!! These makeup people know what they are doing!

Ana from Beaute' Special also used a setting spray. She came at 4:30 amd, we did MK photo shoot at 6:00 am, 10:00 wedding, and fulll day at MGM until 1 am and it was fine! Oh, and this was in August ! Now I will admit by the end of MGM it was sweating off the forehead a little, but honestly, you will be fine !

my make up never lasts but on my wedding day ana was great and it was still on the next day!! we got married on sept 2nd and the weather was very hot. we live in the uk so we are used to cold weather and the make up lasted

My ceremony was 2:30 and my make up lasted all day and night. Thanks to lurkyloo I booked Patricia Lejeune and she was fantastic. It was one of the best wedding choices I made. I would look her up since she is not on the WDW wedding list.
