I am going the week before Memorial Day. I know it will be very hot and humid and I will be wearing a mask and I am prepared for that, but any tips to keep makeup on my face the whole day? I know there is no way to get around doing touch ups but I don’t want it all to melt off. Is it pointless to wear it in FL that time of year? I usually go when it is a bit cooler.

I did go to Tokyo Disney in summer in Japan a few years ago. It was probably the most humid place I’ve ever been to and I did put makeup on but it was all for naught as it didn’t last at all.

I live in the desert btw so I never have to deal with humidity on a regular basis.

Hi, Local here...

Sooo with wearing makeup, with the heat and humidity is a trick for sure.. Even when we are not having to wear masks...

I would suggest playing around with maybe some tinted moisturizer, or something very light weight and of course with sunscreen...

I also would go for the paper mask they are lighter weight, I prefer these in the heat and humidity, and plus bring extras so that you always have a fresh one on hand...

As well I would bring some type of face wipe, to clean your face before reapplying sunscreen or any kind of makeup... I use them on my face, neck, shoulders, arms... DH even will use them to wipe the sweat off his face, and neck .. make sure to give your skin time to dry and then re-apply... Neutrogena makes individual wrapped wipes or just take a few out of the package and put in a small zip lock... I will say if you have more than one ziploc with different wipes mark the bags somehow... I love the hydro-boost wipes.

Right now I am using a tinted moisturizer, and just minimal eye make-up... if I am so inclined to wear any make-up at all...

Less is more for sure in this instants...

Between mask and sunglasses, and/or hats - no-one will really be able to tell if your wearing make-up or not .... especially in the pictures...

With the mask wearing I just do a foundation or CC cream. Don't bother with blush, bronzer or highlighters.

My holy grail setting spray is Ben Nye Final Seal. You're make up will not budge in the Florida summers. I've never had anything melt off.

If you feel you have to wear makeup, just put on eye makeup. Anything else will end up on your mask. Yuck!

I'm planning on doing tinted moisturizer (with sunscreen), and waterproof eye makeup. I used to be that person who put on full makeup to go out to the mailbox, but I'm figuring at 72 (other than some light eye makeup) people I don't know and will never see again won't fall over in a dead faint if I'm not wearing much if at all lol. It's all about what you're comfy doing. Besides, saving the time it takes to do it all--at least for me when, as my s/o likes to say I'm going full restoration--means more Disney time :)

I wear makeup every day to work - but that is a much more controlled environment. I usually don't wear much, if any, makeup to amusement parks. Heat, humidity, sweat, possible rain and water rides make it really impossible to not smear it. Sometimes I will do a tinted moisturizer with sunscreen. Sunscreen is a must!

I love wearing makeup, so even with masks, I rock it! 😆 When it’s hot, I wear 24hr foundation, waterproof eyeliner and mascara. Does a great job! Also, matte long lasting lipstick (only if we are going out to dinner and will be removing my mask.)

I wear a mask to work all day (I'm a teacher) and I find that it smudges my lipstick completely off. If you've got a good setting spray, your foundation may last through masks and humidity, but I'd skip the lipstick. YMMV.

I don't usually take makeup to Disney, because it's going to end up all in my eyes and I'm going to look like a hot mess. I'm much more comfortable without it.

YAY MAKEUP! I love makeup and wear it every day. My Holy Grail products for the Disney parks are:
- Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen
- A light dose of Clinique foundation, plus some concealer where needed
- Uoma beauty sculpting stick & highlighter
- NARS Orgasm blush on my cheeks
- Urban Decay Cannonball waterproof mascara
- Finish up with Urban Decay setting spray & maybe some setting powder if it's really muggy,

Pro tip: I carry one of those mini Evian misting bottles in my park backpack; it's a nice cooling refresh for your face & re-sets your makeup :)
