I have been looking at the list Disney provided for makeup and hair. I was wondering who people used and who they liked? I have looked at their websites but I can't tell much just from that. Thanks for the help.

Amy :)

I'm using Ana with Beaute Speciale. She was recommended to me by my wedding planner. She used to be one of the Disney Cosmotologists when Disney did that for the brides. She uses MAC makeup and can do almost anything, or so I was told. Also, she's really nice and always answers my calls! Good luck choosing someone! :goodvibes

My wedding's not until September, but I just had my trial run "veil fitting" with Naomi from About Face (bridalbeauty.com). She was absolutely wonderful. I was especially amazed with her creativity when it came to my hair. I have "difficult hair" that's extremely thin and never holds any style at all. She surprised me by coming up with a pretty updo that lasted all day.

I used Ana with Makeovermajic. She was so awesome in not only helping get me ready but also getting all the girls ready too. I was so relaxed to have her there, especially since my MIL and SIL got into it the night before and they were both in my room getting ready too. She really kept things going and made everyone at ease.

Thank you all for all the feedback. This really helps me. :) Other DB please keep the feedback coming. :)

Im interested in this too, my wedding is in september but i haven't sorted out my hair and make up yet. Can anyone give me an idea of the cost.

is that just for you?

Yes. $290 for 2 hours for hair and make-up, just for me. (I'm not having a wedding party.) Certainly not a bargain, but my hair was one of my biggest worries. I have very fine, very straight hair that never holds any style--I was very worried about getting my veil to stay in my hair, when even small barrettes slip right out. Plus, the ceremony is outdoors in the early Sept. humidity, so that makes things more difficult. And on top of that, my biggest physical insecurity is not the usual suspects (butt, thighs, stomach) but ears that stick out a little and are too big for my head (in my opinion.) So..., I decided right from the start that if I was going to splurge on one thing, it was going to be my hair stylist. A little silly, I know. And I'm sure I could have shopped around and found an absolutely wonderful stylist for less, but... after my "veil-fitting" (trial run) a couple went so surprisingly well, I feel I'm getting every penny's worth. Naomi couldn't have been more perfect for me.

We used Beaute Speciale as well for hair and make up. My trial run was with Ana, but Debbie did my hair the day of the wedding and they brought in a second person to do makeup. I thought Ana was wondeful! Debbie was very . . . quiet and distant the day of the event which made myself and the bridal party a bit uncomfortable, but she still did an amazing job. The young woman who did the makeup was amazing- we had her stay until after the ceremony and pictures to do touch-up.
It was a little over $800 for hair and makeup for myself, three bridal party members, and my DM. However, they did a wonderful job!

This is wierd- I just went onto their website and Debbie's name is no longer their as one of their artists! I wonder what happened?

Hope this helps!

I am worried about this as well, I have already posted something about this already, however I am in the UK so can not have a trial run first, I am worried that my make up and hair wont look exactly how I want it, and to be quite honest I am sooooooooo confused. I really want the person to come in on the day and say this is what will suit you. Does anyone else feel like this as well.

I also had Anna from Majic Makeover, and she was great! I highly recommend her! She was extremely nice, listened to what I wanted, and also gave me suggestions. I didn't have a trial run, which I was worried about, but it worked out great!

Thanks for all your help I am now seriously considering Ana with Beaute Speciale, however is there anyone out there who has had a bad experience with her

Thanks

We used Lisa Pena and I thought she did a great job. If you do hire her, I would strongly suggest you bringing pictures of what you want your hair to look like, otherwise, her styles seem to look the same across the board!

Hi

I have just booked my hair and make-up with beaute speciale, however I am slightly nervous as they said that it has been confirmed, by just giving my name, where I am getting ready, time and name of my co-ordinator of course with the date of the wedding. I thought that they might give me a confirmation number or I would have to pay a deposit. Is this what has happened with everyone else who has booked with them.

Thanks

I'm wanting to use Beaute Speciale as well. I emailed them last night to check their availability, but haven't gotten a response. I know some places require you to put like $100 down.
