Make-Up

I would like to get my make-up done by the make-up done by the cosmotologist that Disney offers to brides.

Does she bring her own make-up, or do I have to provide it?

Is this done in my room, or elsewhere?

In the packet it says the cost is $45 but subject to change at anytime. If I get there and the price is now $95, can I cancelle with out being penialized?

Just trying to get some info on how the make-up thing works. Thanks

I had my make-up and hair done through Disney and they provide everything that you need. They do a wonderful job. I believe you can have them go to your room or where ever you plan to get ready for your big day. I had them come to the Grand Floridian. I'm not sure if you cancel if you will be charged a fee. I think it was worth every penny. My mom hates when she has her hair done and she was very nervous to have it done but she was happy that she did.

To be honest I wouldn't see the price going up that much Meranda. That said I think that you should be able to cancel with 48 hours notice or maybe even 24 hours - I'd check with your SM or EM.

While we are on the makeup subject, has anyone used an outside makeup person they could reccomend? I am not going to be able to get a trial done the day before and they told me if I do it a couple of months before I almost definetly won't have the same person the day of my wedding, which makes sense. So I thought if I could do it with someone else and then schedule an appointment with her in advance I won't be so worried.

I had a girl do my make up from Disney who also did Cinderella's for the parades/parks! I was so excited . She brought all of her own make up and also did my hair. I told her I wanted my hair done like Felicia from General Hospital when she married Mac (luckily she knew exactly what I wanted...with a little description). She also asked lots of questions about my and my future husbands make up preferences. I got a very natural look with a few highlighted areas...eyes/lips. I never wear make up..just lotion up and go, so I wanted something sub-doed. She was great...even gave me a little bit of lipstick for re-touches. I am sure they will give you lots of options on where to meet you. Since you are getting married at the Yacht Club...I would get it done there.
