Make-Up in disney.

I went to disney last year.I never wore make up then.I am going to disney next year and if i don't ask this now i will forget.but, when you are in disney, does your make up get screwed up or anything.like does your mascara run or anything.i have waterproof mascara, but is it worth it too wear make up?

Absolutely not, I would never wear make-up in Florida.

1) It's hot, it's humid. You WILL sweat. Sweaty, drippy make-up is gross.
2) Re-applying. You're going to take time out of rides to apply precious make-up so you look good?
2) No one cares what you look like in Disney. It's actually the one's who come with make-up and high heels that look silly and out of place.

If it's hot and miserable your make up can get messed up even if it is applied properly. I don't know what kind of make up would stay nice and clean looking on a sweaty face, it will begin to wear off.

OP, it's not worth it to wear make up in Disney. Maybe a tinted moisturizer with spf or a little mascara, but I wouldn't do much else.

i usually just wear mascara and foundation
and chap stick/lip gloss with SPF cause my lips burn wicked bad...

Use primer, waterproof make up, and oil absorbing powder... that's what I do in the summer and my makeup stays fine.

I put on my normal makeup: eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss.
If I want to get fancy, I'll do with anything else too, but that's normally only for a nice dinner.

I tried makeup for about 2 days on our trip and then I gave up.
It's a pain and it's all nasty and sweaty.
I ended up wiping my face so much it came off anyways.
Nobody cares when you're there anyways.
I wore it to downtown disney and evening stuff when it was cooler though.

I only wear make-up in Disney when I go in the winter and it's not hot and humid. Otherwise it lasts maybe an hour before it looks awful. lol

It depends on when you're going, anytime besides summer it really wouldn't be that bad.

I do it almost everyday, and still manage.

Anyway, put on waterproof mascara, don't go heavy on the eyeliner if you wear any at all, eyeliner WILL run and smudge due to the heat. Foundation, I've never had a problem with and same for eye shadow. Do it as if you were at home, but don't apply a ton.

i dont wear foundation or cover up at all, so its not an issue @ WDW.

i just wear a bit of eyeliner and a WATERPROOF mascara. (emphasis on waterproof! lol)

during the day, i will put coverup on if i have an outbreak on my face, and then sometimes mascarra, but who cares. for when i get back from the parks i got to the pool, and why take all the makeup off you face.
at night thought, i do put on my makeup if we are going someplace nice to eat dinner, for its not as hot in the night, and then you will be able to wash your face when you get home from whereever you are.

I usually just use some coverup and a little lip gloss. I've never been one for a lot of makeup. I've never been in the middle of summer but in June it's hot. Coverup and lipgloss usually stays on or gets rubbed off.

Well I guess that's true. I guess that works for people who always wear a base.

I don't wear foundation or power, unless I have a blemish and I have somewhere nice I am going. Too much work for me.

Waterproof mascara supposedly dries out your eyelashes and causes them to break.

I typically put on sunscreen first (clinique SPF 40), then cover up any zits or red spots, then top off with oil-free pressed powder to get rid of shine. I'll put on eyeshadow (neutral color), but typically skip the mascara just in case(I wear sunglasses, anyway).

If you're one of those people that feels better and more confident with make-up, don't skip it. A lot of dramatic make-up isn't necessary, but foundation will make your skin look more even.

I wear eyeliner.

And I don't take a ton of time to touch up- I don't even carry make-up with me (with exception to special parties like P&P or MVMCP when I want it to look absolutely perfect for photos). Other than a quick look in the mirror to check for overly noticeable smudging, I don't worry about it much. And I usually get plenty of complements on how nice it looks.

Okay so i live here in Florida. And i am a teenage girl so make-up is a must! especially for school everyday. it is not that bad it does not melt like people say it does. of course carry around things for touch ups, and dont use that much because depending on the humdidty (changes every other day) level it may get sticky!
