I am taking 14 year old girls to CSR in august, are there any words of advice on not wearing makup in the heat and humidity. Or is it a case of waiting til they notice the panda eyes as the makeup runs?

I always wear make-up and haven't noticed any particular problems. :goodvibes

I've never had any make-up problems - even when I got drenched on Splash Mountain... :scared1:

I never wear make-up because I just get to hot and always end up wiping my face, just go with the flow if they are happy with make-up leave then to it, its tough been 14!!!:)

I have two handsome sons, one 15, one 17 and will be at CSR in late August.

Do you want my boys to offer constructive feedback :thumbsup2

Mrs Aardvark does the basics including water-proof mascara and on 6 previous trips generally has avoided impressions of a large bamboo eating mammal ;)

Depends what exactlly you're concerned about?
If your skin tone eveness is a problem (I'm quite pale with a few freckles)then try a fake tan with a built in sunscreen, I use an everyday type one (Nivea, Neutrogena, Olay) whilst on holiday instead of a foundation - tinted moisturisers are good too. Both will feel lighter than a foundation which is good in the heat.
If you're worried about mascara, then ask the parents if they can have their eyelashes tinted before you go. I have this done quite regularly as I swim a lot and smudge my mascara easily and I find it saves me lots of time and panda eyes! Go to a reputable salon to have your eyelashes done, they will also require you have a skin test beforehand so don't leave it until the last minute - and DONT try a DIY kit....
I tend to use a lipgloss with a sunscreen that can be re-applied as usual.

Hiya, I'm 15 and I can say from experience, I suffer from panda-eyes and "dripping make-up syndrome" when I go places with high humidty. However, I go to Florida in August and I get hot and sweaty very easily (just thought you'd like to know lol!).

From experience, I wear no make-up or I tend to just wear limited mascara or clear mascara, no foundation because that means I get less of a tan on my face, a little lip gloss if I can be bothered and no blusher or bronzer. However, everyone's skin is different so they might be okay with wearing tons of makeup and not have to worry about it :)

I am one of these people that looks half-dead without make-up and would never dream of stepping outside the door without something on. Having said that, the first year we went I tried wearing normal foundation but, within an hour or so of being outside, I was seriously glowing. For the last few trips, I have used a tinted moisturiser, which means that I look like I'm wearing foundation but don't end up with it smeared all over my face shortly after leaving the room. I very rarely wear any other make-up during the day while on holiday, though - maybe a bit of lip gloss.
