Hello Friends!

I've been scanning through some of the comments about how the show has changed recently. I'm not here to debate if its changed for the better or not. However - I do want to encourage you guys to try the video version primarily on YouTube.

I know I love the audio version too. Heck! I have lost 60 pounds walking while listening to the DisUnplugged audio podcast. However - I recently added a chromecast to my TV, and have started watching the DisUnplugged, Universal, and The Trip in HD through my TV.

I still walk with Disney Podcasts, but I listen to the Disneyland Shows and several other Disney podcast that I won't mention here to keep Pete happy! ;)

Dustin is taking things to the next level - adding more visual content all the time. Seeing poll numbers, photos of news items, and now even 'stingers' (Thats what we call them in the TV news world) in the new shows.... all make things a great pleasure to watch.

Even the new lighting adding washes to the studio for the different shows has helped. Keep it up guys! (The cinematic video on the Universal show is some of the best on the internet.)

Chromecast cost about $30 and are easy to set up. Totally worth the investment even if you are 100% mac like me.

First of all - congrats on the weight loss, that's awesome! Secondly - I recently got an Amazon Fire TV stick, and hadn't even thought of watchihng the podcasts/etc. with it - thanx for the idea!!

I appreciate them posting things to YouTube - other video services online (vimeo... etc) don't chromecast!

Ha! I can only imagine my husband's wise cracks if I started watching the DIS anything on our AppleTV!

I agree that the video version is well done, and worth watching, but I generally don't have the time to sit down & watch it, even if it's on my TV (I can watch YouTube on my Roku). I can listen while I do other things...

Sayhello

Point taken, but podcasts are for my driving/cooking/treadmill/shopping time, when my eyes are free I have too much of a tv show and book backlog to get through. :)

I recently got Apple TV and am enjoying the perks of watching you tube on my tv. I will have to look up the disunplugged! I am totally obsessed with my Apple TV lol. I don't think we have watched regular TV since we got it!

I tend to mostly watch the special segments they put up on the channel. Like for example with the current 7 in 7 series i watch the overview videos abut just listen to the podcast as they add them into the podcast anyway. If they did a special video only show I would probably watch the whole thing. Back when they started doing video i would watch the video version of the podcast after listening to it but got bored with hearing the same thing over again. It's whatever you chose to do that't why they do both audio and video.

I listen to podcasts at work. I do not watch podcasts. I am not going to invest the time into sitting down and watching a video of a podcast.

Of course, I haven't listened to this podcast in several years, but this is my rule in general. The only exception I make is when a small part (under 10 minutes) of a podcast is put up on video.

Living in the middle of nowhere can be great. Beautiful views, peace and quiet, not a neighbour in sight.... However, my internet connection is very unreliable. Thank goodness I can download podcasts and listen to them offline.

I'm just greatful that the audio version is still available!
