I had the trainer at the Y today measure me to see if I have lost inches. The measured me back in January so I have been exercising strong for 2 months now. Not only have I lost 9 pounds (don't know how since I haven't been able to stick to Atkins) but I have lost a total of 5 1/2 inches, the trainer was so happy for me. So make sure to measure yourself. Even if the scale isn't moving, you still may be losing those inches....and losing inches can be just as motivating as the pounds are!!

That's great!! :sunny: I only wish I had measured myself 8 weeks ago when I started. :( Not sure I'll bother doing it now tho.

Ginger, thanks for the reminder! This was a good habit of mine at first but I've let it fall by the wayside. I think it's time to get out that tape measure again!!

I'd rather lose inches than pounds ;)

Excellent reminder and way to go, you are getting smaller everyday :)
