Ok, please correct me if I'm wrong before I give my friend the wrong info.

Let's say free dining is May 26-June 2 and they check in on June 2, will they get the free dining for their entire week's stay not just on the 2nd?

And, I know they would have to book room & tickets in order to receive the free dining. Can they book a week's stay & 1 day tickets for the family and still receive the week of free dining?

Yes as long as your check in day is during the "free dining" you will receive the free dining for the entire stay

yes, I think a minimum of a 2 day ticket....

Yes, a minimum of 2 day tickets for everyone in the room 3 years or older.

we just did this for our upcoming december trip. We moved our trip up by 1 so we are checking in on 12/2 which is one of the end days for FD. per the CM, we have FD for the entire trip. Also, we have annual passes, so while we don't need tickets, we were required to buy 2 day base tickets for all of our group(we can use those later on a different trip or towards the renewal of our annual pass's)
