Super cute stuff for your window! We haven't ever done the clings either, but we plan on it for DD's first trip.

We didn't have time to make anything for this trip, so if you are busy, I can guarantee you that store has tons of 1st birthday stuff for girls too. Not sure if it is a regional or national chain, so definitely a place to look!

11 Days Left! Time to start packing...


We are about to hit single digits! In order for work production to stay level, I have had a healthy dose of my Perfect Disney Day playlists rocking all day:

DS new clothes have been washed and packed, and the nursery has become grand central vacation station!

We are gathering the last of what we will need this week, all the odds and ends, cleaning out the car and prepping for vacation, and then packing this weekend. Drop the doggies off at the sitter next Thursday after work, and then use my banked work comp time to take a half day the day we leave.


Which means...


We head out @ noon next Friday!!!!

Thank you! We have been taking him to other characters (like star wars day at the zoo, etc) in hopes that it will make him ok with characters. I think we will be fine, he is a very chill baby!

4 Days Left!

Started systematically cleaning the house in what I like to call the "reverse ripple effect" this weekend. Starts with the least used areas of the house and moves inward. You never notice how long things take to clean until you have an infant that doesn't allow you to clean until they have gone to sleep .

Car is cleaned out and detailed - hoping for a light drive through love bugs. My packing will be complete tonight, along with the majority of DS. DW will finish tomorrow.

The hardest part is keeping focus till we go...
