Hi everyone ! 1st trip to universal-we're going over easter weekend from april 6th-april 9th
I know it should be very crowded so should I make dining reservations ?
From reading posts here I'm thinking I might not have to. It just seems so strange to me because I'm used to planning months before a trip to eat dinner at disney.

April 6th - April 9th is the middle of Spring Break. I'd say it's going to be packed. Are you staying onsite?
Hotel guests usually get a break using their magic room key, but if the restaurant is packed, you'll wait 20 minutes while everyone else waits 1 hour.

Rush hour for lunch is at noon, try to go at 11:30am.
Rush hour for the Citywalk restaurants is 8pm, try going at 05:30pm.

There is an information stand in Citywalk in front of the movie theater. You can make reservations there during the day.

I think you can make dining reservations in advance up to 90 days. I hope thats right - someone here verify.
I would make reservations, just in case........:)

Hi universal usually accept reservations 30 days out, some citywalk restaurants don't accept them apart from on day

You can also make reservations for Emeril's two restaurants at Open Table.com up to 6 months in advance. If your party size is larger than six or if it will only give you a really early time, try calling the restaurants directly (numbers will be listed at Open tables) and ask them to make the reservations. I have always found the staff to be very helpful.:thumbsup2
