If you are planning on getting your pre cruise test in Orlando.
Be sure to plan ahead and make an appointment for your Covid test.
In Orlando most CVS’s are currently booked 4-5 days in advance.
You can make an appointment 2 weeks in advance
If you are getting tested before arriving in Florida see if appointments are available in your area. One less thing to go wrong before your cruise.

Are the CVS tests all drive through? We won’t have a car, but need a PCR test before we return to Korea. We can use the airport facility as a last resort, but they don’t take insurance. Do you know of a test facility in Orlando that tests people who walk in? With appointment, of course.

We use Walgreens for their IDNOW tests. They take appointments 3 days in advance. Drive thru and results in 30 minutes.

In other threads, people have said that the airport facility is nuts and people have missed flights because the wait is too many hours long.

You might consider renting a car or hiring a taxi for a drive through test if you can't find one that isn't drive through. Check local supermarkets that have pharmacies for your best best (of not having a drive through).

The CVS by my house (downtown Orlando) was walk in. Not sure if they are all the same.

I wonder how bad bad is. We get to the airport on a Thursday at 1:00 p.m. and fly the next day at 7:00 a.m. We don’t need instant results…just twelve hours or so.

We did cvs in Missouri prior to flying back to Malaysia, something to note is you need to create a mychart account to get your results AND if you have mi or children you don’t automatically get their results, you have to call a customer service # and request them. It was easy but another step you should account for. (CVS in MO was drive thru only)
