Make a wish on Disney Cruise

Is there a thread for make a wish on the cruise thread? Disabled child and going on the Dream in October. Would like all the info I could find. Thanks.

I don't know about a separate thread, but there was a Wish child on our cruise last winter. If you have specific questions, or even general questions, many here on the disAbilities board also cruise and could probably help.

Enjoy your Wish cruise, I'm sure you'll find it magical!

Your best bet will be to ask your Wish Granters. Cruise experiences vary immensely from chapter to chapter, so the information you get from someone outside of your chapter may very well not apply to your case.

My DD went on her Mak-A-Wish cruise back in 2005 on the Wonder. She had a fantastic time. Back then Disney had a wish co-ordinator at guest relations. The time we cruise there was 5 other wish children on this cruise. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

Thanks to everyone who responded. Apparently I didn't know how to get back to that thread, So I never knew until I did a random Google search on it yesterday. We leave Saturday and I am sure it is going to be magical for my client. The only concern I have now, is that her booked excursion is for Aquaventure at Atlantis and it looks like there is a 50% chance of showers the whole day.

I have a 7 yr old wish child, Carter. He just got approved and wants to go on a "firework" Disney cruise as well. What ship are you going on? When you get back I would love it if you would share your experiences. Have a wonderful time!

NEmel, my son Carson was approved for his make a wish also and we will be on the disney dream April 7-11, 2013 also. Maybe we will see each other. We are from indiana and can't wait to leave!!
