We got back from WDW late Saturday and are just trying to get back into reality. I just wanted to let you guys know that Scoop went above and beyond while we were there, as did several other CM's.
From Scoop, I was awarded a CTT pin and the Easy 1-2-3 pin. Both were more than enough to make my heart smile for days, but he also gave Gabby and I a couple of other nifty pins. We both were so amazed at his generosity. Let's just say that even though I had to rework our itinerary to fit this Pin Trader Talk in, it was so totally worth it. Scoop and Jacque were wonderful.
We spent the majority of our pin trading time at WDW trading out pins that were donated to Bert's Big Adventure that were Sedesma or that were "odd" pins. Gabby and I tried to trade for a wider variety of characters. The Bert's Big Adventure Kids should have lots of nifty characters on their lanyards on their upcoming trip!
There were a couple of CM's that donated pins to Bert's Big Adventure during the course of the trip too. I did not ask for anything from any of the CM's, but through the course of conversations, they generously offered pins to us for the kids.
Our Stitch collection got a huge boost and we have several of the MVMCP pins and Pin Pursuit pins for trade. I wish that we could have made it to some pin trader nights, but our schedule just did not allow for it. We did find a couple of local pin traders along the way. Carol and Nancy Ann were on a Jingle Jungle Parade float! We were surprised to see them at all, but then again, we ran into them at Epcot. It's definately a Small World......btw, that ride looks amazing since the rehab, but I digress.
Overall, a good time was had by all. I can't wait to do it again. Maggie
