Hi,

We returned from our holiday the middle of October, I left it 2 weeks before logging on to Photopass and then spent the next month adding borders etc to the 250 photos we had taken at WDW.

When I went to order the CD it wouldn't accept the promo code given to me when I purchased the cd offer so I sent them an e-mail. This was on the 28th November.

It took about 4 days to reply to me saying they would look into it so I replied back after that and then it took another few days before they said they'd passed it on to the relevant department, I replied after that and then had a reply from a different Cast Member saying that they'd passed it on and I should hear from them within 3 business days, this was on 15th December, so 9 days later I reply back saying it's been 9 days since they last got in touch .

I received a reply yesterday saying exactly the same thing as 15th December - that they've passed it on and I should be hearing from someone within 3 business days.

I just feel really frustrated and a bit let down, there are 1500 photo's of mine floating round Disney somewhere and no-one seems to know what to do to get them back.

I gave them all the photopass card numbers, my promo code etc, the date and time that I tried to order the cd etc so really can't fathom why it's so hard to find them!

I know we took 3,500 photo's of our own but like many of you DH/DW is usually behind the camera so getting us all in one picture is a rarity indeed and these are the only photos of us all together.

I shall have to wait and see I guess but I was just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience and how that turned out :thumbsup2

A few days later I received an e-mail saying that I could now go back online as all the photos were back and to check out with the code I had.

I tried, and tried and tried and it still wouldn't let me. Another e-mail to them and a few days later a reply saying the code has been reset and to try again.

Voila, it worked, thank god!

So, last week I received my pictures, all 1500 of them on 4 discs.

I am quite cross that I haven't received an apology from them, this whole thing started over 2 months ago and I can't believe they find this acceptable but I can't be bothered to do anythiing about it, i'm just so happy to have the photos here :cheer2:

Gosh, Im so sorry to hear that, I hope they manage to get it sorted out for you soon:hug: It must be very dissapointing for you.

hope you get it sorted

Did you pre-purchase+if your answer is YES-was it longer than the 90 days expiry date?.This has happened to others on another forum, but Disney do see you right by it+extend the code-i hope this is the answer+they can get it sorted for you.x.

Yes I did pre-purchase, 10 months before our holiday in fact, but I was led to believe there wasn't an expiry date when asking this question on this forum but also all the e-mails I received from Disney never once mentioned an expiry date or on the photopass website either.

I expect to eventually get it sorted out but it's been over a month now and I do think the responses from them have been a little vague and non-committal but we'll see.

Yes there is an expiry, you must only purchse 90 days or under.I never knew this myself until recently when reading about someone having the same trouble as you. They actually received an email from WDW explaining this 90 day rule. That's why i am hanging out for mine now.
It happened to more than one person+as i said they have been honoured.I really hope you get you'rs sorted soon.Let us know how you get on.x.

had the same problem but a better response from them. This is what I sent and who to (got the email off stitch kingdom):

subjectPre-ordered Photo CD code not working

Hi there

I have just tried ordering my Photo CD using my pre-arrival code but it did not accept the code - 778530MIKKI38546. I pre-ordered in June, but have ordered that far in advance before without any problems in the past.

I am a bit concerned because we had a long trip and some of the early photos will be due to expire very soon. Can you help? The account is also in this email address.

Thank you for your help!

And their reply the next day:

Thank you for your recent visit to DisneyPhotoPass.com.
Please use this promotion code to receive your free CD: 7A4J3M3.......
Once you have added your selected items to the shopping cart at DisneyPhotoPass.com, enter the following code into the "Promotion Code" box, and then click "Apply."
Please note: Only one promotion code can be used per order.
Should you have any further questions, please let us know.

Sincerely,
Steve

I think you may have a worse problem because the pictures are supposed to expire 30 days after you claim them by putting your photopass card number on the site. There is a phone number for them on stitch kingdom as well if you want to try ringing them. Good luck!

Oh that is great news, wow what alot of pics,i hope we get as many as that.
I have pre-ordered mine now-i waited for my 90days-well i left it until 70 days to be on the safe side.x.

Glad you are sorted :)

What a relief this must be for you so pleased it's all sorted now :thumbsup2

When I pre-purchased the photopass in 2007 I emailed Disney specifically to ask if there was any expiry. They emailed to say there was no expiry.

Anyway, this episode will have me forearmed that I'll email Disney before we head out in the summer to hopefully avoid any complications.

Glad you got your photos :goodvibes
