Major Game Interface Problem - Anyone Else? - Any Ideas?

For the last day, I have received the error message when trying to send in game notes almost 99% of the time. I do not have any "not allowed" words, nothing is repeats more than 2x, including punctuation.

I have tested it to try to find the problem and it seems that ANY note I try to send that is longer than 7 words will not send.

Is anyone else having this problem

Does anyone have a clue how I can fix it?

It's really a problem. Thanks if anyone can help!

Example Below. Only "photoshopping" done was to cover title of friend who got key. And that is the longest note I could send. Original note said, "Yay! Did you get a cool prize?" I had to re-write and remove words one by one to see what I could send.

I had the same problem! I sent a message and it told me there was a problem but did not flash in red the offending word.

I rarely send messages in game, but the other day I was trying to tell someone what costumes were going to be for sale this week and I had the same problem. The message I ended up writing made me sound like I was three years old.

I was writing quest task hints and having the same problem. One thing I did find was the any time I used two spaces together I had problems. Maybe this is to stop the odd little trick of making it seem like the other person said something in trades? I don't know, but it is annoying to be told that there is a not allowed word but have no words blinking red.

Yes, we're having the same trouble here, and I know a few people who also cannot send messages or change their signatures. I imagine they are working out all the bugs and maybe one day soon we'll be able to play without these problems (but of course, there may be new ones).

I have had the problem and I think it is related to the quest change which prevents dictionary dancing. Unfortunatley it sometimes blocks when not needed, with no indication of the problem. I back words out and rework it till it goes. It may start out with a long note and end up Yeah!

Most recent message I finally edited to "hat new fill her on messages" That got through.

So glad you get 7 words! For some reason mine balks at more than 3 words! (It took me 4 messages to say 11 words to one person! I'm but at same time) I hope they can fix it soon.

I have found it is the spaces...thus no flashing. After a sentence you can't put more than one space any longer. Who knows if there is another reason but now with only one space it seems to work

Yup! No more double spacing between sentences. It is the extra space that is the problem.

Wow! Is that really it?!!? So we are ruining the English language even more?

If that's the answer to be able to send notes again, thanks for letting me know! But, uh, there are supposed to be 2 spaces after periods in the English language. Oh well, what's a few IQ points among friends? (Just don't let GrapeWillow know about this!)

It is giving trouble with words like on, too, for, I sometimes if you remove a or an it works sometime you have to scrap the message.

I've had the exact same issue, getting that message with no flashing words. It's driving me mad! lol

So no double spaces? I'll have to try that.

Another similar issue is when I try to type someone's title while chatting (don't know about while in a message). I don't seem to have any problem if they are a friend, but if the person isn't a friend, their name blinks red. I used to be able to type peoples names that were in the room with me, now can't without it blinking red.

I found out though, that if you force enter the sentence through (press enter 2-3 times) my talk bubble appears on screen with the name there. It doesn't censor it with ### as it would normally block out other forced through words.

Took me a couple hours to figure it out, but yes its double spacing. Dont double space after the periods

I got so frustrated last night with not being able to send a message, that I sent one word in each message!!

you can also only have one comma and one "a" or "and" in each message

This also seems to apply to room descriptions and signatures now.

I wouldn't be surprised if it also affects clue writing in the quest engines.

I was writing clues for a quest when I figured it out.
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but there are some new tasks available to use when making quests. I've seen Find Multiple Items where you can put out several items and players have to find some or all of them, and Collection where players have to collect a certain number of gas cans, trophies, or clamshells.

I have had this happen a few times to me, I just erased all I wrote and wrote it again.
