Major Domo

Hi everyone, we're thinking of adding the Major Domo as a sort of MC for our wedding. Just wondered how it all works because we have a ring bearer and Phil has a best man. Does the Major Domo have to bring the rings in? Thanks!

From what i've heard from other brides and seen on youtube videos, he does bring in the rings and stands up there with your wedding party. After the ceremony, he cordinates a staged exit with bubbles or rose pedals, etc... and introduces the bride/groom and wedding party at the reception.

there is another thread on here about major domo. He's not that cheap, but looks like a ton of fun and im trying to pinch some pennies so I'm able to afford him.

I'm sure he wouldn't have to bring in the rings if you didn't want him too, but then again im not sure I would personally pay that much to have him then since we don't have a ring bearer and that's primarially what we want him for

I probably wouldn't have the ringbearer carry the actual rings. You could do the bit where the BM goes to get the rings, realizes they are "missing," then the major domo comes in and saves the day!

My best friend had Major Domo and he delivered the rings, announced the couple and gathered everyone for the rose petal throw.
He looks so great in pictures.

He really added that extra magic......
