Major Disney Website GLITCH, Will they Honor it?

So you guys know this is an error yet you are still trying to get Disney to honor it? Nice. No wonder prices keep going up....:sad2:

Wow.. feeling a little judgemental? I don't think anyone has confirmed it's an error. I think people are genuinely confused if it was a new offer because so many people have been seeing it for almost 24 hours now. Sure.. the prices keep going up because people a handful of people are trying to book what is being offered on Disney's own website. Glad you have the economics all figured out.:rolleyes1

No reason to blame the OP for Disney's error! A company as large as Disney, that just publicized a huge marketing campaign has no excuse for errors like this, if it is even an error! If it isn't then Disney really needs to clarify their discounts more clearly...

I agree with you that its not the OP fault and that calling Disney to find out if they would allow her to book the package is fine.

But Ihave to respectfully disagree with you that someone should expect to have something given to them simple because its Disney, even though they are not entitled to it.

Things happen in life and errors are made. It certainly will be great for the OP if Disney decides to allow the deal to be booked, and if they do, that is wonderful. But if they don't, I can't imagine why anyone would be upset, especially knowing going in it was most likely an error because the trip could not be booked.

OP, keep us posted!!
 

There are booking problems all over disneys site since the announcement... The TA site is also majorly messed up... Packages that were bookable this afternoon have varied anywhere from $40-80 within the past two hours... I had to break out the calculator to be sure I wasn't going crazy!
 
Well, IMO, I believe Disney will probably honor it, if in fact it is a glitch.Disney is amazing that way! My sister encountered a glitch a few yrs back when she went to book a Disneyland trip online, and they honoured it. To me, its the same as shopping anywhere..if the pricetag says one thing, but it rings up at the till as a higher price..wouldn't anyone question it?? I would think so..but that's just my opinion! :)
 
OP here... I just have to say WOW! I came on here just as a notification of what I was finding on the website, and to see if anyone else had found out the same thing. I never knew it was cause so much DRAMA!

Surely no one can think I am trying to get something I am not entitled to. I am just trying to see if this is possible. I wasnt demanding anything or even becoming upset. I have talked to guest services who is very nice btw, and are trying to see what they can do. I was out shopping today when they returned my call. They said that they would honor the price on the moderate resort at 2411.?? I think, for 7 nights garden view 2 A 2C. Which I thought at the time was great,since I didnt have any of my numbers in front of me,so I booked it. Now I see that Colleen is right on that the numbers werent matching the B4G3 promo. I will call back tomorrow first thing to figure all this mess out. I would however love to get the pop century at 1377!:cloud9::cloud9: I will NOT however demand it. I am just trying to see if they will honor what their website showed. And truth be told, I was just trying to figure out if their was another promo out, that I didnt know anything about. I wasnt trying to get something that didnt belong to me, and I certainly dont thing that I am the demise of why WDW prices are going up. I will however just like anybody else question something that I dont understand.

I just wanted to say I had the same thing happen when I tried priceing out POP resort here is what popped up on my screen, I copied and pasted it before clicking on a mod or deluxe resort as I had to read it over a few times but like you the prices when I tried POFQ did not reflect buy 4 get 3 free only 1 free and the system would only let me put in a time span of 7 days so I went off to bed.

This package is not available at a Disney Value Resort for a 5-night stay. Select a 6-night stay, or upgrade to a 5-night stay at a Disney Moderate, Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resort with this package for 3 more nights free when you buy 4.


I totally get what you mean you wanted some clarification about the Pop up. I thought maybe it was some special like I had read others mention when calling CRO a pop up and they were able to book a resort upgrade for next to little additional money.

Would be very interesting to see out this turns out. My guess, as others have stated, is that there will be a B4/G3 offer.

With Art of Animation opening 4 new resorts throughout 2012, combined with Fantasyland being 'torn up' until Fall, they may well need that kind of promo to fill the rooms.
