I dined at Jiko's at the end of May and had a maize bisque (I believe--I know maize was in there!) for an appetizer or first course. It was not part of a tamale, as that is about all I can find doing a google search. I would love the recipe for this, of course, but I am really just looking for the title/description of this. If anyone has eaten at Jiko's since the beginning of May, I would love some feedback if you remember seeing this on the menu.
