Maine State Parade on for tomorrow

make sure you come early for a good viewing spot and wear warm MAINE clothes.....it is going to be chilly.......sit near seven eleven and you can get snacks to hold you over......come early and have a good time and make sure you pick up your trash.....so it doesn't come to my house....hahaha....

The 50 degrees isn't bad, it's the rain that's a bummer!

I can't make it, because tomorrow is also the Maine State Baton Twirling Championships.

Also the women's football league is having a game tomorrow night in Portland.

Maine is so exciting right now I just don't know how I can stand it!

Sorry pumba...it's opeing day of turkey hunting season here in NH tomorrow
DH has laid out my camo overalls and is packing up the car...and setting the alarm I shall be faithful wife, operating the turkey call thingie, enjoying the morning in the woods...and then be treated to breakfast out when DH and DSS have had enough
So no trip to Maine for me

it sure is sunny out.........my kind of parade day.......not warm either....so some in between jackets are coming on........anyone up for a great day in Maine for a big parade........come on down.....errr ...I mean UP

we got up to Main street where the parade was going to pass by us....we brought our chairs and juice and popcorn and got ready for the action........parade started a little after noon time and it was a great parade......floats ....bands.....twirlers.....plenty of good groups to listen to.....most of all the floats threw candy at us and some were very good at it......the Maine state Parades theme this year was Diversity in Maine and just great.......it ended around twenty of three and we came down the hill and got our cookout ready for action.....we had hamburg....red hot dogs .....and hot sausage cooked on the grill....delicious.....love food.......hahah
