If we just want to pop in to MK on Monday Feb 3rd for the electrical parade what time do we need to be there to have a good view. We will have 1 adult ECV driver (never been to Disney before) and 1 very tired adult (will be getting up at 5am Sunday working 10 hrs then driving 10 hrs to Disney).

She has never been so I want her to be able to see the parade. We will be spending a full day at MK on Wednesday.

I'd be inside the MK park by at least 90-120 minutes before the parade start-time.

A look at the Parade Route
Disney's (MS) Electrical Parade and the 3 O'Clock Parade both start near the Firehouse and exit near Splash Mtn.
MVMCP and MNSSHP Parades both start near Spalsh Mtn. and exit near the Firehouse.

Less crowded than on Main Street, but still spectacular viewing can be found near the Hall of Presidents,
or deep into Frontierland, past the Country Bears.
(But, from there you won't be able to see the new "show" that is actually projected on the front of the Castle,
"Celebrate the Magic," which begins about 15 minutes before the fireworks.)

I don't know your particulars for this trip, but if you can get FP+ in advance,
you might want to try for FP+ for the parade.

It offers a roped-off reserved section for viewing the parade.

I wasn't planning on going to the park on Monday, but it isn't that much more. So we will have all our FP+ available if we go.

I just pulled up MDE and I don't see an option for any parades or viewing areas. Are they located somewhere else?

The parade and fireworks FP+ generally only become available 2-15 days before the actual date.
They have been very inconsistent about when they are made available.

ALSO- If you are making FP+ (or already have FP)+ booked for that date at MK,
make sure that you change the TIME of one of the FP+ to very near the start-time of the
parade that day.

(Yes, the system is the opposite of what would be called "intuitive" or "user friendly.")

I've been checking for MSEP on 2/2 and no FP+ availability yet...
