DD had her first haircut there and they really make it a special event!

There were lots of "regular" customers in while we were there, too.

I thought they were very reasonably priced for haircuts - $14 IIRC for a child, and not much more for an adult. Not sure what they charge for the colours or the Mickey icons that they do on guys hair though.

Just an add on thought...
we now make this a standard part of our first day at Disney! My kids LOVE it and we love all the extra attention from being pixie dusted! Michael (the male hairdresser in the link picture) definitely knows how to make the kids happy and boy can he pose for a picture!

We, too, have made it a tradition for our son to get a haircut on Main Street. In fact, now when I tell him I'm taking him to get a haircut, he says "In Disney World?" If only I COULD take him to WDW every six weeks for a haircut!

It's a wonderful place to get pixie dust!

The barber shop is the first stop for DD, DS and DH whenever we go to Magic Kingdom!! They all get hair cuts and pixie dust added. The picture in my signature was taken right after thier haircuts during our last visits. It is fairly inexpensive and we love it!! Bye the way, DD had her first hair cut there and has had it done each visit!!

Harmony Barber Shop has become a tradition in our family as well. My 23mo old got his first haircut there too. It was a shock to the entire family when he DIDN'T cry. A few months later, we took him to a local place and he screamed the entire time. I promised him then and there that the next time he had his hair cut, that it would be at MK. He had his third haircut (and 2nd at MK) just a week and a half ago. And guess what? He DIDN'T cry! They just have a way with toddlers so I'd highly recommend the "first" haircut at Harmony Barber Shop.

The barbers really know how to interact with everyone and make it a special experience for all!

BTW...when my son had his 1st haircut, he got a certificate, Mickey ears with the words "first haircut" on the back, they posed for pictures (took out the 'cartoon' stuff) and saved his baby hair. Awesome service!

I had my hair cut recently there and they ROCK! One of the best cuts I have ever had done. My hair is tricky to cut because of it's texture and it was even!!! NO ONE has ever gotten it so perfect! Plus it was fun! As soon as it is long enough for my locks of love donation I will be having it cut there again!
